The pocket bottom consists of a bag.

Step 1: cutting: pocket bottom

Your pocket must be five centimeters longer than the pocket opening. Here, I cut my pocket bottom in one go. There is no seam at the bottom of my pocket, the bottom is folded in half.

Step 1a: cutting: enter pocket / piping DDE

To make things easier and because it seemed logical to me, my pocket pocket and my piping are just one piece. The piping value is added to the pocket entry.

Step 1b: the cut: between the pocket of the body

For my pocket entry which will be against my body, I took the same size as for the previous pocket entry

Obviously, the rectangles are all the same width.

Step 2: assembly.

Before assembling my pocket to my jacket, we must assemble the different parts of the pocket itself. We will therefore assemble the body pocket entry with one end of the poaching bottom and the clothing pocket entry with the other. Then you have to iron so that the seams are open.

If your garment does not have a lining, you must oversew.
