SCRUNCHIE

The scrunchie is an elastic trapped in a strip of cloth. It’s a very simple and quick piece to make that requires little hardware

Step 1: The cut

To make my scrunchie, I cut a rectangle of 52 cm x 8 cm, it is possible to replace by 6 cm if you want.

Step 2: Slide

As if to make a rat tail strap, I folded my fabric in two lengths. Then you have to sew a centimeter long. (Think of the stopping point at the beginning and end of your seam.)

Step 3: Return

After sewing all along, you have to return your tape. To do this, just hang a nanny pin and drag it all the way inside.

Step 4: Insert the elastic

Now your flip band you need to insert the elastic here again using a nanny pin. Take both ends and tie a knot and tuck them into the strip.

Step 5: Close

Finally, check that the seam is well outward and then there are two ways to do it:
